Chinese car maker Geely to launch in UK in 2012

Parent company Geely International Corporation has struck a deal with Manganese Bronze Holdings to be its distributor in the UK market. MBH is the parent company of The London Taxi Company, which manufactures the iconic black cab in Coventry.
Brabus tunes Mercedes S-class for Frankfurt motor show

The clumsily named sedan comes with an iPad mini that can control all COMAND functions from the back seat. Of course, Brabus wouldn't be here without adding gobs of power to the normally staid S-class.
Opel leaving China, but planning a car for the US
Mon, 31 Mar 2014General Motors' Opel is withdrawing from China after several years of declining sales, with the last vehicles slated to be exported from Germany in January 2015. Opel managed to sell only 4,365 cars in China in all of 2013, compared to a staggering 810,000 Buicks, GM's most popular division in China. The lackluster sales and the planned withdrawal from China highlighted the unique demands of the Chinese domestic market, where Buick now offers almost twice the number of models as in the U.S.
