Ariel Atom 3.5R police car joins UK Constabulary

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

We never pictured the Ariel Atom as a police car, but now that Ariel Motors has actually equipped one with all the appropriate police gear, it makes perfect sense. It's light, it's highly visible, it's relatively cheap to run on a daily basis and it's wickedly fast. For those old enough – or for Nissan Z Car nutters – the retro graphic on the side will bring to mind the early Datsun 240Z.

Bentley Motors and its employees from the tooling, woodshop and styling departments have created a range of collector items the will cross the auction block to raise funds for the Prince's Trust charity. The items include Bentley artwork, a chess set and Bentley camshaft lamps.
