This auction is for a new Alpine USA Sports Model 769-04 Rear Rack Bag. The bag is new but without its original packaging. Comes with all mounting hardware and instruction sheet in plastic pouch. Designed to fit on snowmobiles with a rear cargo area behind the seat. An example is shown behind the seat of a Ski Doo Rev chassis (not part of auction). Heavy nylon (cordura?) construction with light padding. I filled the bag with paper to give it some shape for the photos. I approximately 20" long by 6" deep by 15" wide approximately. Comes with carrying handle, two tabbed zippers. Great condition. New price is about $80. What you see is what you are bidding on. Shipping to US only. Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will be Indy 500 pace car
Tue, 08 May 2012The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will be the pace car for this year's Indianapolis 500--a fitting victory lap as the current sixth-generation Corvette heads for the end of its production run and the end of this version of the ZR1. The Indy pace-car Corvette will wear the 60th-anniversary trim package--an arctic white exterior with silver stripes down the center of the car and a blue interior with suede leather coverings on the steering wheel, center console and in the seats. Changes for the pace car include only the addition of a light bar on the roof, some racing-safety equipment and race logos.
Foreign language theory test scrapped
Mon, 07 Apr 2014FROM TODAY the driving test in the UK must be taken in English or Welsh, after long-standing rules permitting foreign language speakers to sit the test were removed. Theory tests have previously been available with voiceovers in 19 foreign languages and candidates could use an interpreter on both the theory and practical driving tests. But changes that come into effect today were introduced after a consultation showed more than 70% supported the withdrawal of foreign language voiceovers and interpreters.
MG Icon concept
Wed, 18 Apr 2012The MG Icon concept will be unveiled at the Beijing motor show next week in order to test public reaction to a small crossover, as well as suggesting a new design direction for the brand. Similar in size to the Nissan Juke, the Icon – as its name suggests – plays on MG's back catalogue of classic cars, something the company hasn't done since its takeover by Nanjing and subsequently SAIC in 2005. Despite clearly different proportions the Icon pays homage to the MGB GT sports coupe via its lamp and grille graphics, bumper overriders and fastback tailgate.
