Alta Performance
07+ MINI Cooper S R56 Panel Filter

ALTA Performance was the first to offer you a replacement high flow drop in filter for your R56 and JCW. This environmentally responsible filter is completely reusable and will last you the life of your car!

High Flow Drop In

Our high flowing, super cleaning foam media allows us to make the filter thinner while keeping the maximum amount of volume to hold dirt.  This simple change allows for more air to be drawn across the entire filter.  This also allows for 2 times the volume in the OEM intake box, and allows for the intake to breathe that much better!

PROVEN HORSEPOWER

The ALTA Drop in filter makes a few extra HP but where it really shines is when it gets dirty. OEM and K&N filters get clogged the more dirt gets in them and loose horsepower. The ALTA Foam media keeps flowing even after its full of dirt providing you with maximum horsepower between filter servicing.

Compatibility

FITS ALL 2007+ COOPER / COOPER S / CLUBMAN S / COOPER JCW

Will NOT fit JCW Aftermarket air box (purchased separate from JCW package)

SUBARU has showcased its new Legacy concept, which strongly hints at the future styling of the brand’s marquee model. At the Los Angeles Auto Show Subaru took the wraps off the preview model ahead of the fifth generation Legacy’s expected launch in 2014, when it will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The company trademarks of a Boxer horizontally-opposed engine and mechanical permanent all-wheel drive will remain, giving the Legacy a degree of sure-footedness that few, if any, rivals can beat.

Telematics box aids attempted murderer conviction

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

A ‘BLACK BOX’ telematics device fitted to a hire car has played a significant role in the conviction of an attempted murderer. The device had been previously installed into a car hired by Daniel Paita, 32; a car he was driving on the day he carried out an attack on a man in Glasgow. Paita had claimed he was nowhere near the area, but anti-motoring fraud experts at Asset Protection Unit Ltd (APU) were able to ascertain the car’s true whereabouts via a tracking device within the telematics unit.

New Year drink-drive warning for revellers

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

SOME revellers will drink so much to see in the New Year that they might be over the legal driving limit for nearly all of January 1, the AA has warned. As many as 21% of people plan to drink at least 10 units of alcohol at New Year's Eve celebrations, potentially putting them still over the limit by 12 noon on New Year's Day. And the AA/Populus survey of more than 21,000 drivers also revealed that 2% would drink to such an extent that they risked being over the limit as late as 10pm on New Year's Day.
