Alternator 13188 for 1988 - 1989 Taurus ( 6 groove serpentine pulley)  OR 13190 for 1988 - 1990 Tempo and Topaz (V pulley). These units interchange and differ only by the pulley. The unit has the V groove pulley on it. If you have a Taurus, you just use a 1/2" impact gun to remove the nut and change to your pulley.

*** Note: The vehicle side wireharness is known to melt at the alternator connection. Check your electrical connector and replace it if there is any sign of damage, corrosion, or over-heat. If you don't replace the connector the alternator will fail. Thanks,

Concept Car of the Week: Mazda RX500 (1970)

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

Developed by the Toyo Kogyo Company's advanced design and engineering team, the Mazda RX-500 was described as a ‘mobile test bed for high-speed safety'. Looking at its design, the team's childlike enthusiasm has shone through, resulting in a very cool concept.  From the rakish front to the wraparound windscreen and on to the bread van rear, everything communicates high-tech and ‘70's futurism while also channeling a little of the Star Wars X-Wing. Thanks to plastic body panels, the concept weighs only 850kg and is powered by a 491cc rotary engine delivering 247bhp fitted behind the cabin, in front of the rear axle.

"Turbo" is the heartwarming story of a talking snail (Ryan Reynolds) who's obsessed with IndyCar racing, then after traveling to the 101 Freeway and falling into the LA River, he finds himself sucked into the engine of a supercharged Camaro.
