This kit is a U.S. made upper AND lower alternator bracket set used on a big block Chevy Engine,1969 and newer with the long water pump. This bracketry is the same on any 396,402,427 or 454 from 1969 up. These are beautiful GM APPROVED and LICENSED REPRODUCTIONS ready for an all original show car. The upper bracket pictured is the SOLID version, with the original holes for the battery negative wire. The lower is just like the factory with no indents and the long bolt going into the head even has the correct THIN nut included.

And while the five-door 2 hardly looks staid, and actually rather dynamic, the Japanese company is claiming the three-door will be even more sporty. Quite how this will be achieved Mazda doesn’t say and is remaining tight lipped until nearer show time.

Volkswagen will begin production of its XL1 plug-in hybrid in two years. "We want to go into series production with this car starting in 2013," VW chairman Ferdinand Piech told Automotive News Europe on Tuesday at an event in Doha, Qatar, ahead of the 2011 Qatar auto show where VW unveiled an XL1 prototype.
