Terms & Conditions

1. Springfield Auto Recyclers warrants that all parts are functioning and serviceable at time of purchase.
2. No warranty for improper installation, rounded, or stripped parts.
3. No refund if a replacement part is in stock (replaced within a reasonable amount of time).
4. There is a 20% restocking fee on non-warranty returns.
5. We do not sell parts on a trial basis.
6. Buyer should confirm fitment of part before purchase; returns made due to buyer error are subject to stocking fees.
7. No refunds on shipping. Buyer pays return shipping regardless of reason for return.
8. No warranty/refund on electrical parts, including sensors, computers, modules, relays, and wiring.
9. No warranty on glass, tires, or body sections which have been cut off to order.
10. All engines are compression tested, with results available. Engines are guaranteed against rod knock, cracked block, excessive smoking, and cylinder heads are guaranteed not to be warped or cracked. We do not guarantee carburetors, fuel injectors, distributors, water and fuel pumps, and other engine accessories. Buyer must install new oil, filters, plugs, gaskets, thermostat, and water pump if applicable.
11. Engines must have new oil to type specification of the motor and proper filter upon installation and every 3,000 miles thereafter. Proof of service will be required.
12. Some engines and cylinder heads have heat tabs installed on them. If the center of the heat tab is melted out, the guarantee is void.
13. Parts external to the engine block and cylinder heads, i.e. throttle bodies, carburetors, distributors, sensors, etc. are not warrantied. If they come with the engine, they are for buyers convenience only (like a "gift").
14. Transmissions are guaranteed to be in good working order, including slippage, shifting failure, or bearing noise. Shearing and breaking of teeth is not warrantied under any circumstance. We recommend new seals and gaskets to be installed prior to installation when appropriate.
15. No warranties on oil or gasket leaks.
16. Rear axle assemblies, front wheel drive axle assemblies, transfer cases, and or transaxle assemblies are guaranteed to be in good working order at time of purchase, gears are guaranteed to be in good condition at time of purchase, and bearings are also guaranteed to be without material noise at time of purchase. We recommend new seals and gaskets to be installed prior to installation when appropriate.
17. All price adjustments & returns must be handled by the original sales person.
18. All parts are sold with a 14 day warranty from the date part is received, besides the exceptions noted in these terms & conditions. These parts are subject to inspection by dismantler. The parts must be in the same condition as when sold upon return and also must bear the identifying marks which appear on Car Guyz Auto Recycler's parts, or the warranty is void. It is agreed that the sole determiner of condition for return is Seller. Buyer agrees to any inspection or method of inspection dictated by Seller and agrees Seller has the right not to accept returned used merchandise if in Seller's discretion, he or she believes condition of used merchandise has changed from date of sale.
19. We do not offer warranties for labor, and will not refund for damage caused to a part due to improper installation or usage after time of purchase. We will not refund any parts which have been altered, modified, disassembled, or damaged by misuse or accident subsequent to purchase. Buyer waives all claims for consequential damages which result from the sale of the above parts including, but not limited to, labor charges to install or remove the parts, loss of income, wages or salary or car rental charges. Buyer's sole remedy against seller shall be a return of the price on the PayPal invoice or an exchange of replacement part if timely returned to seller. There are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and no warranties which extend beyond the description of the part in this listing.
20. Any exceptions to the warranty will be expressly stated on the invoice.

A = 1 or less units of damage
B = 2 or less units of damage but more than 1
C = more than 2 units of damage

Mechanical Part Grading

A = Less than or equal to 60k miles, or greater than 60k miles but less than or equal to 200k miles and less than or equal to 15k miles per year
B = Greater than 60k miles and less than or equal to 200k miles but greater than 15k miles per year
C = Greater than 200k miles

Part Grade Abbreviations

AFT = New Aftermarket body part
Downgrade = Recycler choose to downgrade the part based on damage not reflected in the grading algorithm
