This is a Cherry part off a running 2000 135hp Mercury Optimax That only had 450 hours on this engine, when cylinder 6 lost compression, so I am parting out this very low hour engine, in pristine condition! All parts off this engine are CHERRY! Operational and guaranteed for 14 days, with returns, if this is not the part you need. The owner of this engine, was cared for with an open check book, its whole life, well maintained and always greased, and cared for, Well, over enthusiast is to say the least! Ford Freestyle under investigation for low-speed surges
Mon, 16 May 2011The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating the Ford Freestyle wagon for complaints that it surges forward at low speeds. More than 200 complaints have been lodged about the issue, alleging that the Freestyle jumps forward at low speeds even when the accelerator isn't pressed. NHTSA is investigating about 170,000 Freestyles in model years 2005 through 2007.

The Show, entitled 'Icons', which this year revolved around the central theme of designing tomorrows automotive 'Icons', displayed the students' work at Coventry's Transport Museum. Patrick le Quement, Renault's senior vice president of Corporate Design presented the Corus Award for 'Best Vehicle Design', which was awarded to Dev O'Nion who won for his design concept 'Apto Sapor.' O'Nion's project - an interior design concept - was inspired by organic themes in nature - what he called 'Natural Design' - to create a harmonious interior; a blend of the natural, biological and technical.
