2013 Subaru Forester revealed

The new Subaru Forester – a 2014 Forester for the US – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show this month. The Forester still looks like a Forester although it is a bit longer, wider and taller and gets a longer wheelbase which, say Subaru, means more space in the back seats and more room ion the boot. There are cosmetic tweaks with a crease running down the flanks under the window line, a new grill and bumpers, new alloys and a more slick feel to the looks. There’s extra toys too with a new Infotainment centre with smartphone integration, SatNav with reversing camera and a nice upmarket Harmon Kardon sound system.

This is the Audi Urban Concept Spyder - the roofless version of Audi's radical city car, due to bow in at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. There's not much else to say about this Audi: it's the same as the coupe shown earlier this month, but with a low, continuous window area and doors that open diagonally to the top. Jaguar Land Rover RECORD sales in 2013 Jaguar Land Rover has been on a roll for the last few years, so it’s no surprise they’re reporting record-breaking sales for 2013. But the sales figures are, by any measure, impressive with a total of 425,006 cars sold between Jaguar and Land Rover in 2013 – an all time record and up 19 per cent on 2012. Sales success wasn’t concentrated in just one market either, with sales up in Asia Pacific and the China region by 30 per cent, North America up 21 per cent, the UK up 14 per cent, Europe up 6 per cent, and other overseas markets up 23 per cent.
