VW Touareg BlueMotion Hybrid for Detroit

VW are revealing the 2010 Touareg at the Detroit Motor Show including a BlueMotion Hybrid VW are taking the whole ‘Eco’ game seriously. Japan's earthquake and tsunami may force Nissan to delay the start of U.S. production of its Leaf electric vehicle, now scheduled for late 2012. "The earthquake is putting us in a very difficult situation," said Hideaki Watanabe, head of Nissan's Global Zero Emission Vehicle Business Unit.

As you’d expect, the big, bold Lexus grill makes its presence felt, with slim LED headlights, big wheelarches, statement alloys (17″ or 18″), sculpted bonnet, sharp creases on the flanks and a back end that’s as angular as the front.
