Bernie Ecclestone wants Saab – Spyker make new bid
Fri, 08 Jan 2010Bernie Ecclestone is behind the Genii bid for Saab I think if we tried really hard we could be doing at least one story a day on the saga that is the sale of Saab by GM. There’s no point re-hashing the history – if you read here regularly you’ll have had your fill of the story that’s more like a Soap Opera than a business deal, but if you want all the back stories just look under Saab. But now – at the 11th hour – we have two new bits to add to the story.
Lexus to unveil new concept at Detroit 2012
Tue, 20 Dec 2011Lexus has released a second teaser shot of its new concept car, set to be unveiled at next month’s Detroit auto show. This glimpse inside the Lexus sports car reveals an elegant cabin; we assume the photograph has been cropped to show just one front seat and it is in fact a two-seater. All will be revealed at the NAIAS in January 2012.
Suzuki Swift S-Concept (2011) at the 2011 Geneva motor show
Thu, 10 Feb 2011Suzuki has unveiled a warmed-up version of its Swift supermini at the 2011 Geneva motor show. The new Swift S-Concept is an indication of the forthcoming Swift Sport hot hatch. Although a concept, it won’t take a rocket scientist to work out the Swift S-Concept is very close to the production car.
