Fiat 500 Electric 2012 launch
Tue, 23 Mar 2010The Fiat 500 Electric Concept was at the Detroit Motor Show this year At the 2010 Detroit Motor Show Fiat brought along an electric concept version of the Fiat 500, together with a Chrysler-badged Lancia as a clear indication that times are changing at Chrysler. And it would appear they’re changing even more quickly than we expected with the announcement that the Fiat 500 EV is going in to production, and will go on sale in the US in 2012. And so it seems – even though almost a year has passed – with the reveal today by Peugeot of what will be the world’s first diesel hybrid when the 3008 HYbrid4 starts to hit the road in 2011. You couldn’t get a much better starting point for a hybrid than the 3008 Crossover (read our review of the Peugeot 3008 if you have any doubts).
Citroën Lacoste Concept at Paris
Mon, 20 Sep 2010The Citroen Lacoste Concept - A Gallic Mini Moke? You would be entirely forgiven for taking one look at the photo at the top and deciding it was a another over the top Golf Buggy for golfers with more money than taste (no, I’m not going there). But if it’s not a mad golf buggy there’s only on other thing it could be – a daft concept from Citroen; a speciality of the French maker, especially at their home Motor Show.
