THIS IS AN ALUMINUM POWERGLIDE SET UP FOR FOR DRAG RACE. HAS 4500 STAHL SPEED CONVERTER MADE BY POWERGLIDE PERFORMANCE IN FLORIDA A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO. I HAVE A CONVERTER FOR 350 ENGINE OR FOR A SMALLER CU IN ENGINE LIKE 283. NOT SURE WHAT THE FIRST GEAR IS IN THIS. NOT ALOT OF RUNS AND WAS IN A LOWER HP CAR SO NOT ABBUSED. I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER ONE WAS BUILT FOR ME BUT NEVER USED. IT WAS SET UP WITH TRANS BRAKE. THIS ONE DOES NOT HAVE THE SET UP FOR TRANS BRAKE. REMOVED THIS FROM MY VINTAGE DRAG CAR CAUSE WENT MORE NOSTALGIC WITH THE TRANSMISSION. Porsche Boxster growing to make room for small two-seater, report says
Mon, 16 Aug 2010The next-generation Porsche Boxster will get a longer wheelbase and measure nearly 173 inches long overall, British magazine Autocar says on its Web site. Why is the Boxster growing? To create room at the bottom of the Porsche lineup for a new two-seater based on the Volkswagen BlueSport concept shown at the Detroit auto show in 2009, the report says.

The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled.
