This is a good used aluminum oil sump as fitted to early Jaguar Mark 1 2.4L from engine number BB.1001 to BB.9000. It does NOT have the bypass fitting as found on later engines! It has no cracks and no signs of ever being repaired. There is no drain plug but the threads look fine.

The first is a real easter egg - a detail that once you've discovered it you can't help but see - the front lamp cans are based on Star Wars' TIE Fighter. What has been seen can not be unseen.
RCA students to reinterpret classic cars for Salon Privé

This year the event has something that really piques our interest – a design contest, judged by some of the world's top designers. Ten Students from the nearby Royal College of Art have been tasked with reinterpreting a previous cars entered into the show for a competition named Concours of the Future.
