The 2013 edition of the CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition saw the largest number of participants and entries ever, and produced an outstanding standard of work. In this video, filmed at the awards ceremony that took place at the North American International Auto Show, judges explain the competition structure and the benefits that both GM and the students get from the experience. Mitsubishi plans to halt U.S. production of 3 models in August

Mitsubishi will stop making three models at its Normal, Ill., plant in August. Production of the Eclipse coupe, Eclipse Spyder and Endeavor crossover will cease, while the Galant sedan will continue to be built, said Yoichi Yokozawa, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America. A decision on when to end Galant production will be made later, Yokozawa said.
