Andersen Manufacturing’s often copied but never equaled Alumistinger was the first aluminum ball mount in the towing industry. With its unique stand-out appearance the Alumistinger ball mount offers boat, snowmobile, ATV, and utility trailer owners the highest quality and best looking ball mount hitches on the market. The Alumistinger is made of one solid piece of aluminum alloy with no welds, giving it all the strength and durability you need.

Is aluminum really strong enough for use in a ball mount? When Andersen Manufacturing Inc. first released the Alumistinger solid aluminum ball mount, many in the industry figured we were doomed to failure. But, after many years and many miles of problem free service the industry had to change its tune. In fact, many companies have released remarkably similar products. When you decide to step up from your rusty steel hitch to the great look of aluminum, remember Alumistinger was first! Insist on the Original!

Alumistinger ball mounts will never rust and are much lighter than standard steel ball mounts of similar strength. The aluminum looks great by itself, so there is no need for paint or chrome that will chip and peel. To keep the shine, you simply need to polish the hitch from time to time and you will have a high gloss surface that looks brand new.

By Chris Chilton Motoring Issues 10 April 2009 10:00 Jim Heywood’s glassfibre-bodied example is one of just 87 right-hookers built before the switch to steel panels. Which also means it’s on carbs and is delivering a healthy 240bhp. ‘The carburettor cars are the best in terms of engine response,’ says Karl Virdi, ‘most people steer clear of the ’81-82 injected cars.

2012 Porsche Boxster, 911 Turbo, 911 Targa, 911 Cabrio & new Cayman caught on video

    Sun, 09 Oct 2011

Porsche's next generation cars caught on video There are umpteen people round the world who make a living from camping out in inhospitable terrain in the hope of snapping a new car before the car maker wants the world to know. And they make a decent living from flogging those snaps to car media round the world. So those poor guys must be spitting feathers when they see what one sleepy resident of San Franciscan found lining up on his street when he was awoken by the sound of a Porsche 911 or three outside his bedroom window.

    Skoda Fabia concept

    Tue, 06 Mar 2007

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 06 March 2007 03:50 Skoda looks to the Mini for Fabia body kit Expect to see some Mini-inspired styling cues on Skoda's new Fabia, taken from this concept car unveiled today at the Geneva show. Tucked in a corner alongside a rally car concept, the funked-up Fabia had a silver roof and door mirror caps; although not yet officially confirmed for production, officials reckon the new look will make it to showrooms, unlike a Fabia Scout faux-by-four, which was ruled out. The Fabia goes on sale in May for around £8000.
