The SCOUT KS 108 is a thin and discrete 6mm fiberglass Marine AM-FM antenna.
It uses standard threading to fit universally to any marine mount. Length is 38
inches tall, (3ft, 2 inch), (0.9m). They
are dual coated by hand with UV
inhibitors in a glossy finish
to stay looking new for many years in the ocean spray environment. The
reception obtained with this antenna is outstanding due in part to the included
13ft (4m) industry leading high quality tinned copper tightly braided shielding
used in our own manufactured Am-Fm radio cable. The cable includes an already
attached jack that connects directly into the back of the radio so no soldering is necessary. While most
marine radios can connect to other devices via AUX or Bluetooth to stream your
own music, devices such as your expensive phone loose their charge or worse get
water exposure. The Am-Fm signal is the easiest way to get music playing on
board. Scout has been hand making the best marine antennas since 1982 in a

Third of motorists admit to driving with no MOT
Wed, 21 Aug 2013A third of motorists have driven a car knowing the MOT had expired, risking fines of up to £1,000 and invalidating their insurance in the process. That’s according to a survey conducted by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), which found that of 1,000 UK motorists, 67% had driven without an MOT for up to a week, 24% for a month, 7% for six months and – shockingly – 2% for more than six months. Now we’d give the 67% who admitted driving without an MOT for a week the benefit of the doubt – it’s easy to forget the test is due.
