Opel Corsa
Mon, 22 May 2006Opel has released pictures of the new Corsa, which will make its debut in July at the British Motor Show. Sharing its platform with the Fiat Grande Punto, styling is closer to the larger Astra with dynamic cab-forward proportions. Aided by the strong chin, an additional pane in the side-glass also enables a more forward-reaching profile - as chief designer Niels Loeb said "this is just what we wanted the coupe-like three-door Corsa to be." Inside, the IP neatly evolves themes from the outgoing model, with cues also shared with the new Antara SUV.
Alfa Romeo teases production 4C sportscar
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Alfa Romeo has revealed the first official teaser image of its 4C sports car. The 4C, which is expected to debut in March at this year's Geneva Motor Show, was first seen in concept form at the 2011 edition of the show. The image shows a set of alloys that also featured on the concept, indicating that the production version shouldn't be much different from the concept.
McLaren P1 – Driven by Jay Leno at the Top Gear track (video)
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Jat Leno (pictured) drives the McLaren P1 at the Top Gear track at Dunsfold We reported just a few days ago that the McLaren P1 has all but sold out, and one of those buyers is America’s petrolhead in chief, Jay Leno. Even though Jay isn’t short of a few bob, he’s not going to be the wealthiest buyer of a P1 (by far), but his celebrity status has conferred on him something most P1 buyers won’t get – the chance to take to the Top Gear track at Dunsofold in the new P1 with McLaren’s Chris Goodwin (Chief Test Driver) riding shotgun. Prior to the run round Dunsfold, Jay gets a tour of the new P1 production centre (perhaps the cleanest car production centre in the UK) before being whisked off to Dunsfold by helicopter.
