Condition:Used

A original 71-74 AMX Javelin  "COURTESY LIGHT LAMP" dash Indak switch knob
(with clip) for all 71-74 AMX & Javelin Series. This is incorrect for 71
which had black knobs, but clips on just same. Has little insert and plastic
chrome is not best in places (these used to peel in 1970s) but has been
stored for decades so might be better than what you have, plus one can
easily use chrome paint (Hobby Lobby or Michaels or any hobby store) to
clean this rare little knob up!

**SEE other auctions for a few more knobs from my now closed warehouse, will
combine shipping, wait for invoice.

Ford S-Max Vignale concept unveiled

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

Remember the Ford Mondeo Vignale concept from Frankfurt? It's basically a posh Mondeo, but Ford would like us to think it's a bit more than that. Vignale is Ford's attempt at going upmarket – taking on German premium brands with 'Vignale lounges' in special dealerships and specially trained 'relationship managers'.

Jaguar XJ & XF get 4WD

Thu, 16 Aug 2012

Jaguar has announced that four wheel drive versions of the Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF will be available – but not in the UK. Jaguar has long bemoaned the lack of a 4WD platform for their cars, and even blamed such a lack of flexibility for the delay in launching the XF Sportbrake. We’ve been expecting Jaguar to reveal a 4WD version of the XJ for a while (especially as the new Range Rover utilises the same platform) but we didn’t expect a 4WD XF until the next generation XF launches in a couple of years.

Young drivers 'feel invulnerable'

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

MORE THAN seven in 10 young drivers think they are better than the average driver despite the age group being 2.5 times more likely to be involved in a serious crash, according to a survey by Vision Critical and road safety charity the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) The IAM says that the average of 71% reveals a perceived 'invulnerability' in young people that is not reflected in the real world. Britain’s most confident young drivers are in Northern Ireland where an astonishing 87% think they are better than average. The facts tell a different story, with young drivers making up 26% of those involved in crashes.
