American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels And Mickey Thompson Indy Profile Tires Rare on 2040-parts.com
Woodstock, Georgia, United States
You are looking at an original of American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels with Mickey Thompson Indy Profile Tires. This is a VERY NICE set of Rims and Tires to give your Musclecar that Vintage TUFF day 2 Hot Rod look!! This design is a Timeless Classic and will make your Ford, Mopar or AMC stand out at the cruise night This set of Torque Thrust Wheels are staggered in size with a 15x7 wheel in front and a 15x10 Wheel for the rear. The wheels are v ery nice and take a shank style mag lug nut. They are 5 lug on a 4-1/2 bolt circle making them good for a Ford, Mercury, Dodge, Plymouth, and AMC vehicles. The tires are Mickey Thompson Indy Profile Bias Ply tires in size G60-15's for the front and MONSTER N50-15's in the rear. The tires are in very nice shape with nearly new tread and nice sidewalls. I can't say they are 100% perfect, but they have very little wear and weather checking. These tires have the Vintage BIG SQUARE Hot Rod look to them that you just cannot get out of a radial tire. I had these on a 1970 428 Cobra Jet Mustang for that Vintage Fat Tired 70's Steam Roller Hot Rod look. When I sold the car the new owner preferred the original Kelsey Hayes wheels so I removed these and figured to make the available for some other lucky Musclecar enthusiast. One Lap of the Web: The Weird World of Wheels
Wed, 14 May 2014-- Introducing the greatest television show you've never heard of: "Operation: Mystery!" Imagine if the "X-Files" took place in 1960s Japan, and had its own cool custom car the heroes rolled around in: the Tortoise, a pudgy little thing that resembled the unholy combination of an Opel GT and a Dustbuster. It was bulletproof (not really), had gullwing doors (really) and was based on a Subaru 360 (really!). Sadly, its whereabouts are unknown, and it might have disappeared into the ether along with the UFOs its heroes probably investigated.
Prime Minister praises JLR during visit to new engine plant
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Prime Minister David Cameron today praised Jaguar Land Rover as he made a surprise visit to the firm’s brand new £500 million engine production facility in Wolverhampton. The PM flew in to join a special contingent of MPs, local government officials and the press on an early preview tour of the in-construction new plant, just six weeks after the JLR team themselves moved in. Apparently, an insider told MSN Cars, the PM had personally requested to visit the plant – and he wasn’t originally invited!
SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concept Heading for Worthersee
Wed, 21 May 2014The SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concept (pictured) is heading for Worthersee Some cars that head for the Worthersee Show look like they could be heading for production, but the SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concept isn’t really one of them. SEAT has built the Cupster Concept as a celebration of thirty years of the Ibiza range and it comes without a roof but with a steeply raked windscreen and wraparound glass, big buttresses where the back seats would usually be (there are no back seats) and a boot mounted spoiler. SEAT are promising more details before Worthersee, but it seems reasonable to assume that the Cupster has the regular Ibiza Cupra under its skin complete with the 178bhp 1.4 litre TSI engine.
