Americana Originals looks like Yankee Tail Lights but they actually came off the Roof or headliner of an old Carpenter Bus.  The glass lenses are embossed with ARROW #39.  exact year is unknown,  the 50s 60s is my girlie guess of age.
The orange glass lenses are in good condition with no fractures, cracks or chips but will need some scrubbing to get some of the white paint off. They are still painted over and I was more afraid of doing more damage than good removing it all.

Theses lights were the headliner or running lights off an old Carpenter School Bus, They were almost dragged off with the bus as junk.

The lights have all original parts except the gaskets which were dry rotted and turned to dust as soon as air hit them.
The bulbs need replacing but 1 of them does still work. Replacement is easy with a common bulb. My Ford Aerostar uses same bulbs as tail light replacements.
Only single wire to splice. I would recommend replacing the wiring since it is as old as the bus. Screw holes are discolored from the rusted screws.

2015 Hyundai Genesis to be compatible with Google Glass

Fri, 03 Jan 2014

It seems that at least one automaker is ready to embrace wearable computer technology before it become as ubiquitous as a cell phone, as Hyundai has just announced that its new 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan will be compatible with Google Glass. The wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display is becoming more and more common, and Hyundai engineers have teamed up with Google to make it interact with the car's Blue Link infotainment system. Users will need to download a Blue Link Glassware app to manage a number of the car's functions, such as remote start, remote locking, and a vehicle finder.

Toyota ends powertrain deal with Tesla

Wed, 14 May 2014

To the surprise of no one, Toyota has announced the end of a partnership with Tesla that gave rise to the slow-selling RAV4 EV, which will be replaced by a fuel cell car next year. Toyota has said that it can't meet California's zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate profitably with electric cars, but it thinks it can make money, or at least not lose so much of it, with fuel cells. Toyota signed a $100 million joint development deal in 2011 with Tesla, to build powertrains for its RAV4 EV.
