Installation Guides:
Pull out the head unit from the car and touch the back of the head unit for CDC port when the ignition is switched off
Properly connect its one end to Audi Music Interface, while the other end to any device that has 3.5mm earphone jack.
Put the wire harness into the proper and good place after the test successfully.
When connection is done, simply press MEDIA on the MMI controller buttons. This cable transmits audio from device to car stereo only. It won't display album list, control the device, or charge the device.
