New Jaguar XJ illegal in the USA

Jaguar's innovative dual-view screen will be illegal in the US It would be horrifying for Jaguar to discover that they’d built a glorious car like the new Jaguar XJ, only to find they’d dropped a huge clanger by making it an illegal road car in the US. It’s not that bad, but Ian Callum – Jaguar’s design guru – has confessed that the dual-view screen in the new XJ is actually not legal in the US. Whoops.

Bentley Continental GT Speed specs released

British luxury-car maker Bentley has published complete details of its new flagship vehicle, the Continental GT Speed. The 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine develops 616 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, which is good enough to propel the three-ton car from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds. The car tops out at 205 mph.

Koons's BMW Art Car to race at Le Mans

BMW will field the latest in its long series of Art Cars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, June 12-13. This is the 17th Art Car commissioned by BMW. Jeff Koons follows others such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Jenny Holzer in designing an Art Car.
