Ferrari 365 GTB/4 For Sale. Driven by a Prince & a Hamster
Thu, 31 Mar 2011The Ferrari 365 GTB/4 We have to confess that the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 – aka the Ferrari Daytona – is one of our favourite Ferraris. The Ferrari Daytona marked the start of the modern age of Ferrari for us; the end of the bulbous cars that went before and ended with the glorious 250 GTO, the Daytona was sleek and modern and as sexy as hell. Even those who don’t know one Ferrari from another would probably know the Daytona from its starring role in many a film – A Star is Born, The Long Goodbye, Gone in 60 Seconds and many more – or from the Miami Vice TV series (although that was a replica).
New Ford KA Concept revealed
Wed, 13 Nov 2013New Ford KA Concept revealed The current Ford KA really hasn’t been an overwhelming success for Ford – unlike the original KA – and there was a point where Ford were considering scrapping the KA altogether. But common sense has prevailed in a car buying world that is seeing more and more downsizing, so Ford is planning a new KA – expected to arrive for the 2015 model year – but, unlike the current KA, it won’t be a shared venture with the Fiat 500. Instead, it seems Ford are planning on using the previous generation Fiesta platform to underpin the new KA and offer a proper Ford city car rather than a second-rate Fiat 500.
Concept Car of the Week: Mazda Ibuki (2003)
Fri, 21 Feb 2014With the Ibuki, Mazda designers synthesized the most successful of the first generation MX-5's iconic elements and evolved their forms to make them even more memorable and simple. To do so, they used a strong geometric theme throughout the car inside and out: LED headlamps; front air intake; tail lamps; rear view mirrors; release handles and interior details down to the pedals – every shape follow the same oval theme. Zooming out, the silhouette – as well as the top view – is also oval, making the Ibuki look more like a toy than a car, which is a real bonus for a small roadster.
