Citroen C-Buggy
Mon, 15 May 2006Citroen will show their latest concept in Spain at the Madrid Motor Show next week. Chopping the roof off last year's C-AirPlay brings the concept closer the Smart Crossblade seen in 2001, and proposes a potential direction for a more leisure-orientated supermini. Just as open-cars are philosophically opposed to closed ones, Citroen has carried this equation through to the trim as well: the gray exterior of the C-Buggy contrasts with the white of the C-AirPlay, while the green interior inverts its forbear?s rouge.

But we did point out, despite nothing official from Mercedes, that there was a good chance they were going to take a camouflaged version of the one petrol powered CLS the UK should eventually get – the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake – to Goodwood at the weekend.

Actually, no, they couldn’t, but that’s because Nico Rosberg had electrical problems before the start and had to join the race from the pit lane, and ended up retiring as the electrical gremlins proved terminal.
