Here it is! I am selling my coveted AMS Street FMIC. This is the original design and rated for 650WHP. Tests performed on this FMIC showed that on a stock turbo Evo the OEM FMIC lost 2.5 pounds of boost and began to heat soak at the top of third. This Garrett Core design lost LESS then a pound of boost with no discernible heat increase.

For anyone with a stock turbo to a 35R+ this is the FMIC needed. It fits behind the OEM Crash bar and lines up to most IC piping designs. A much needed upgrade.

$500 Cash please and I am pretty firm. They go for $750 + Taxes and Shipping new from AMS SO APPROACHING a full grand for a new one when this works just as well with a True Garrett core  for the same amount of WHP and Fitment. What AMS do now is have a proprietary core prolly to cut costs so if you want a Garrett design and Welded end tanks Vs cast this is for you.

Obviously fitment is flawless and that mounting bracket still works. I'm also on Evo M you can search for me over there under high_psi and see my perfect trading record.

The AMS EVO VII/VIII/IX Front Mount Intercooler is the best performing direct bolt on you can buy. This is the same durable, race proven intercooler core we used on our record setting Time Attack EVO, proven efficient to 650 whp. This intercooler has over 80% more internal flow area than its stock counterpart, works with stock and some aftermarket piping and even allows you to retain the front bumper beam! Let the competition know that your EVO means business with a genuine AMS Intercooler but be warned the intimidating AMS logo may scare them off!

Engineered Quality For Superior Performance & Durability

This AMS Intercooler now features cast aluminum end tanks for added durability with smoother features and geometry. Designed by our engineering team using Solidworks (3D CAD software) these A356 T6 Alloy Aluminum end tanks have improved flow over sheet metal end tanks and include gusseted brackets to prevent cracking or failure. We go beyond our competition to ensure quality. Each AMS Intercooler is hand TIG welded in a jig for a perfect fit and pressure tested to 50 psi to ensure maximum performance.

Ultimate Efficiency And Hassle-Free Installation

We tested many intercooler cores to find the best performing core available. The super efficient 3.5" thick AMS Intercooler even out flows the competitions 4” core and provides better fitment. With a cross section flow area of 45 inches square this is the largest intercooler on the market that fits without cutting the bumper beam. There are other "more affordable" intercoolers on the market that start out at a 3" thick core that you can upgrade to 3.5" or thicker but the 3.5" STANDARD AMS Intercooler still out performs the competition without any cutting of your bumper!

Do it right the first time, order your AMS EVO Front Mount Intercooler today!

Product Notes

The FMIC is not perfect cosmetically but it is perfect functionally. The Top Support bracket split a while back and still works as a support beam believe it or not. It also has two lower brackets as well. Typical AMS Over-Engineering. It could use a cleaning but I don't have time at the moment as work is killing me 6 days a week. I will meet with those in the Tri State Area and will use Pay Pal if the buyer takes care of the Fees and shipping.

I am really looking for Money but if you have GSC S2 cams for an EVO IX we can talk.

Thank you!!!!

Vettel wins for Red Bull in Japan

Vettel wins for Red Bull in Suzuka (Image: Getty) The start grid was not what we expected after Q3 on Saturday, after a raft of speeding under a yellow flag penalties were handed out to the drivers in Q3, resulting in Button starting 10th on the grid. And the race didn’t get a lot better for Button, ending up in eighth place with just one point, a place behind team mate Rubens Barrichello who finished in seventh. But the day belonged to Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who was in control from start to finish, picking up ten points and keeping alive his championship hopes.

Infiniti's Smart Move

Mon, 26 Nov 2012

If you're going to throw props at people for their insight and business acumen, be sure to aim some at Infiniti's new global boss, Johan de Nysschen. Here's why: On Sunday, before the final 2012 Formula One championship race, Infiniti announced it would be the title sponsor of Red Bull Racing going forward into 2013. That in itself is a great coup for the luxury car maker.
