Instead of the original spring adjusters, new roller cam chains use engine oil pressure to maintain proper chain tension Camshafts on all 1999-2006 Twin Cam 88 engines (excludes 2006 Dyna) can be updated to new style roller chain drives Designed for use with stock Harley Davidson hydraulic lifters Installing 2007 roller cam chains on earlier engines requires series “N” Andrews camshafts. Stock Harley Davidson parts are required: 2007 cam support plate, 2007 or later oil pump, cam sprockets and chains and both hydraulic chain adjusters Matching EZ-install pushrods kits are sold separately. EZ-install pushrods do not require removal of gas tanks or rocker boxes when installing bolt-in camshafts Cam style: 26N Bolt-in cam 88-95" and stock compression ratios Great for 2-up touring, this cam will add torque and HP at lower and middle RPM ranges (1800-5200 RPM) Specification readings are as follows, with Timing and Duration measured at .053 cam lift. Wed, 02 Sep 2009Porsche has announced a Limited Edition Porsche 911 that will launch at Frankfurt - The Porsche 911 Sport Classic Porsche has plundered its history to build in to the 911 Sport Classic styling cues from the past. The Sport Classic gets a ‘Duck-Tail’ rear spoiler (thank you, 1973 Carrera RS 2.7) and ‘Fuchs-Style’ alloys (ditto – at least in terms of chronology). You can also throw in to the mix a double-bubble roof (Carrera GT et al) and black surrounds to the headlights, which is evocative of the 1970s Porsche racers. So having thrown every design cue that fits from its history, what else does the 911 SC get?
Chevrolet Camaro outsells the Ford Mustang for first time since 1993
Wed, 01 Jul 2009Some drivers weren't even born the last time the Chevrolet Camaro outsold the Ford Mustang. But it happened in June as the reborn Camaro dusted the restyled Mustang, 9,320 to 7,362. The last time the Camaro beat the Mustang in a monthly sales race was October 1993, when Chevy sold 10,985 Camaros and Ford sold 5,680 Mustangs.
