Pitched as a hint at what could replace the Subaru Legacy, Subaru says the new Advanced Tourer Concept juggles 'driving performance and utility.' This concept car is a bit smaller than today's Legacy, however; at 4580mm long, it's more C-segment sized than the current 4775mm Legacy wagon. BMW releases power kits for the 135i and 335i models
Mon, 19 Sep 2011BMW 135i and 335i models can now be retrofitted with two new performance power kits for more muscle and speed. The Version 1 kit has new engine software to optimize performance, while Version 2 tacks on an auxiliary water cooler and radiator fan to keep the engine from getting feverish during extreme driving. With either kit, horsepower increases by 20 hp, to 320 hp, on both models, and torque jumps to 332 lb-ft for models equipped with automatic transmission.
BMW recruits drivers for ActiveE electric car
Mon, 23 Jan 2012BMW has started recruiting drivers in seven U.S. markets to field-test its first all-electric vehicle, the ActiveE. Seven hundred prospective drivers in Boston, Hartford, Conn., New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Diego, Calif., are being sought.
