This appears to be an original 1940s gas or accelerator pedal, the second pedal found in a garage along with parts that were identified as being from a mid to late 1940s D-Series International Harvester truck, though it cannot be confirmed that it also came from that truck.

The pedal appears to be structurally sound though it has considerable rust, is very dirty and shows wear.

The pedal measures 7 3/4 by 2 inches and is extremely thin - please note its thickness against the pencil in the photos.

Please examine the photos carefully as that is the best way to understand the condition of this vintage pedal.

Manhart has been tuning BMWs and only BMWs for 20 years, and they've worked on everything from the E30 3-series to the latest offerings from the Bavarian automaker.
