Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
X- Military Surplus - Sold AS IS
Brand:Anschutz Kiel Country/Region of Manufacture:Germany Manufacturer Part Number:not applicable

This auction is for the Repeater Compass part of an Anschutz Kiel Gyrocompass 14 Standard.

I purchased several of these gyrocompasses a little over 10 years ago (it has been in storage since then) from our Government Surplus after they were removed from our Military Naval ships when the ships was decommissioned, other than that, I know nothing about them.

This repeater compass is marked as model 133-311 #0778 and measures approximately 6 3/4 inches across by 6 inches to the top of the rubber hood.

This component appears to be in very good condition with no corrosion or damage that I can see and I see no good reason it is not in good working order; however, I do not know how to use this and certainly have no way of testing it, so it is "Sold As Is" - please note: all that is included in this auction is what you see in the photos, there is nothing else - if you don't see it - it is not included, if you have any questions please ask before bidding and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I you are located outside of North America, please request a shipping quote BEFORE BIDDING due to the high shipping costs and there are countries I will not ship to.

I have more pieces to this system currently listed; however, due the size, shape of these other items, I will not be able to offer combined shipping.

Please see my  other items!

GENERAL AUCTION LISTING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

PLEASE NOTE:  None of us like paying shipping costs; unfortunately it is a necessary evil in the world of internet sales and with the latest surcharges due to the increase in OIL prices and new labour settlements, the costs for shipping are up considerably from even 1 YEAR ago, but please note, we DO NOT make any money on shipping - we only charge for CANADA POST SHIPPING RATES plus the cost of packing materials (peanuts, bubblewrap and box) – with NO HANDLING CHARGE - For all buyers outside of Canada PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that this will be INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING which is MORE EXPENSIVE than your domestic shipping and due to possible CUSTOMS Clearance Delays and the extra DISTANCE for the parcel to Travel - the Delivery will normally take LONGER THAN FOR DOMESTIC SHIPPING - for shipping costs please see the shipping quote as shown in the listing.

Canadian residents must pay GST / HST sales tax – BC buyers must also pay PST - all other buyers are exempt these taxes. Although recommended, quotes for shipping will not include insurance unless requested.

Seller will not be responsible for uninsured items.

I will combine shipping & insurance on more than one item if safe packing will allow for it. Payment must be made within one week from end of auction.

We try to identify the maker, composition and age of the items we sell; however, we are by no means experts in any field and this information is based solely on our general knowledge & opinions & bidders will have the final responsibility in determining the same - so PLEASE email BEFORE you bid if you need clarification on any items.

Any local customs or duty costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please keep in mind that you are bidding on used and vintage items. We will disclose any damage or defect that is not consistent with what should be expected with normal wear, and will always disclose any chips, breaks, repairs, etc. that we believe affect the usability and value of the piece over and above normal wear for the age of the item; however, we are human and as such can make mistakes - if we have made a mistake, please contact us and we will work with you to fix the problem

Items are shipped from a smoke-free home.

Please see above for acceptable payment methods.

Thank You & Good Luck!

Michael Schumacher vs the Nurburgring rollercoaster

Michael Schumacher vs the Nurburgring rollercoaster By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 17 July 2009 13:03 Michael Schumacher still holds the Nürburgring GP circuit’s lap record (1:29.468 back in 2004), but he’s never left the startline faster than he did last weekend – when he was strapped into the world’s fastest rollercoaster, subjected to 4.5g at launch and accelerated up to 135mph along 1212m of track. The rollercoaster – originally planned to open in Easter 2009 as part of a €215 million expansion plan – finally got the champers treatment at the German GP, and runs right next to the race track’s start/finish straight before spearing off into a number of tortuous twists and turns. How did the ’Ring people manage to get the former F1 world champ on board?
