Here we have a super nice pair of American Racing Ansen Sprint wheels. GM pattern 4.75 and 15X8.5 . I mounted tires on these but were never run and were dismounted and put on the shelf for 10 years. So they appear almost new very shinny and no marks. Actually only one has had a tire on it. I will charge only the actual  shipping cost and will refund the difference  if under the 50.00 dollars. Sold as is and no refunds or returns but rest assured they are really clean. Thanks for looking!

Saab struggles with bills – Vladimir says it’s all fine

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

The Saab production line grinds to a halt as components run out I think we all hoped that after the long, painful transition from GM ownership in to new hands at Spyker that things would settle down and Saab would get back to making cars instead of headlines. But it seems not. Just a few days ago we had news that lifetime Saab man and CEO of Saab Jan Åke Jonsson is to step down in May, together with the news that Saab lost €140 million in 2010.

New Mercedes B-Class (2012) arrives

2012 Mercedes B-Class – now it’s official It looks like we may have to hold our hands up and confess that we may have been mistaken about the 2012 Mercedes B-Class. On several fronts. Mercedes are calling the new B-Class a ‘Sports Tourer’, which may be stretching the definition of Sport Tourer in our book, but does point out that the 2012 B-Class is a muck slicker and sleeker product than it predecessor, which was, let’s face it, an A-Class on a McDonalds diet.

Volvo City Safe means lower insurance preniums for Volvo drivers

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

Volvo’s City safe has reduced insurance premiums for Volvo owners Volvo are on a mission to ensure that no one dies or is seriously injured in a Volvo by 2020, and that means more and more clever technology to protect Volvo drivers from the dangers of driving. One of those technologies is Volvo’s City Safe, a low speed (up to 31mph) collision avoidance system, that uses a laser at the top of the windscreen to monitor traffic and will automatically brake the car if its senses no reaction from the driver when a collision is imminent. So good is City Safe that Thatcham – the people who set insurance groups for cars – has decided Volvos fitted with City Safe should be rated in a lower group.
