Qoros set to unveil two concepts in Geneva
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Qoros has announced it will showcase two concepts alongside its first production car, the GQ3 compact sedan, at this year's Geneva motor show. The Cross Hybrid Concept and Estate Concept preview future Qoros designs and technologies and are both based on the same platform as the GQ3. The two also feature the same signature design cues, developed under the direction of executive director of design, Gert Hildebrand.

Tue, 24 Jun 2014The Volkswagen Beetle Dune frolicking on the beach Back at the Detroit Motor Show in January, the Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept arrived as the perfect accessory for an outdoor lifestyle – especially if you’re in Southern California. Riding higher than a regular Beetle, with big wheels and a rack on the back for surf boards, sand boards or skis, the Beetle Dune Concept looked very close to a production car. Now, with Summer upon us, Volkswagen has released some new photos of the Dune concept frolicking around sunny locations in Germany and pointing firmly towards a production version.
First Sight: BMW 3 Series
Wed, 27 Oct 2004With the 7 Series of 2001, Z4 of 2002, X3, 5 and 6 Series of 2003, and 1 Series earlier this year, the current E46 3 Series is the last (X5 excepted) 'old school' BMW in production. These first official pictures show BMW's fifth generation E90 3 Series which replaces this car and completes the new design strategy for the main series BMW range under Design Director Chris Bangle. Now with a smaller sibling in the range, the 3 Series is no longer BMW's entry level car although it shares much of its platform with the 1 Series and it is expected to continue to account for about half of BMW's total sales.
