LIQUIDATING MY 30 YEAR COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE TOOLS & TOOL CATALOGS

This is Cornwell Quality Tools (Mogadore OH) catalog a-55, dating from 1950.   All the general automotive tools of the day with special tools for Chevy, Ford, Chrysler and a few others. Nicely illustrated/photographed catalog with 122 pages plus price sheet in b&w,  8 1/2" x 11" in full size format,  3 hole punched for post binding.  This catalog is in good condition,  paper covers are lightly soiled with frayed edges but intact, interior mostly clean and complete, binding tight and overall reasonable condition considering the age of this catalog.

Cornwell was a direct competitor to all the major tooling manufacturers such as Bonney, Herbrand, Mac, OTC,  Snap-On and others. Through the years they have remained a strong competitor producing a quality product and still exist as a going-concern nearing their 100 year anniversary. Their fine old tools have survived the years and can still be found in the tool boxes of professional mechanics, at swap meets, eBay and estate sales.

Sat, 14 Mar 2009

Citroen C-Cactus Concept will form the basis of a new range of Citroen Eco-Cars The first of the new range will be based on the existing C4, but feature bodywork based on the C-Cactus Concept (but a wee bit prettier, we hope) and featuring a range of green and economical propulsion systems. Under consideration are an electric version (EV),  a  form of hybrid technology or simply lopping a cylinder off and aiming to bring the Co2 down to under 100g/km. So that will give Citroen three distinct ranges.

Audi A6 facelift (2008): first official pictures

Tue, 12 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 12 August 2008 00:01 This is the new Audi A6. Despite a seemingly endless flow of new metal over the last 12 months, Audi has found time to give its 5-series, E-Class and XF rival a bit of a spit and polish, enhancing the saloon and estate line-up with new petrol and diesel engines, tweaked interior and exterior styling and enhanced safety equipment. The revised line-up arrives here in October, with the saloon priced at £24,800, and the Avant estate commanding a £1570 premium over the equivalent four-door model.
