LIQUIDATING MY 30 YEAR COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE TOOLS & TOOL CATALOGS

This is New Britain Machine Company (New Britain, CT) catalog 59M, dating from somewhere around 1961.   All the general automotive tools of the day with some specialty tools for Chevy,  Ford, automatic transmissions and a few others. Nicely illustrated & photographed catalog with 80 pages in b&w,  6" x 8 1/2" half- size format. Gloss covers are lightly scuffed with very light soiling, interior clean, complete with tight binding and overall very good considering the age of this catalog.

New Britain was a direct competitor to all the major tooling manufacturers such as Bonney, Herbrand, Mac, OTC,  Snap-On and others. Through the years they have remained a strong competitor producing a quality product. Their fine old tools have survived the years and can still be found in the tool boxes of professional mechanics, at swap meets, eBay and estate sales.
