For sale is this antique Airguide Auto-Altimeter, which is a barometric altimeter for automobiles. Altimeter has Bakelite housing so it's an old one. Device measures about 2.5 inches across, lever on back is to set zero. Bakelite housing is nice with no bad scratches, plastic dial cover is yellowed from age. Nickel plated bezel has some plating loss, it is missing mounting bracket.

Mechanism seems 'sticky' - I'm pretty sure needle is rubbing on inside of plastic cover lens. Plastic cover lens is also loose. I would bet there was once a gasket that crumbled and is now missing. Plastic cover lens is flexible and does pop out easily so cutting a new gasket and putting it in would be a simple job for the mechanically inclined. Because of this I'm listing is for repair and AS-IS.
