LIQUIDATING MY 30 YEAR COLLECTION OF ANTIQUE TOOLS & TOOL CATALOGS

This is PROTO Tools Professional Quality Catalog no. PR120-6909, appears to be dated 6-73.  Full size (8 1/2" x 11") format, 119 pages in part color, well indexed and VERY nicely illustrated general auto & some specialty tools. Gloss paper covers lightly scuffed/soiled with water stains at lower right corder of rear pages, interior clean and bright, stapled binding tight and overall good + condition. PROTO was a direct competitor to all the major tooling manufacturers such as Bonney, Cornwell, Herbrand, Mac, OTC,  Snap-On and others. Their tools can still be found in the tool boxes of professional mechanics, at swap meets, eBay and estate sales.

Kia Red Rock Special Edition Soul joins lineup

Kia has added another Soul special edition to its lineup, inspired by the rock formations in the southwest United States. It gets a unique exterior color called canyon, while the interior gets its own styling as well. The Red Rock Special Edition was introduced at the 2011 New York auto show, and then toured the United States to gauge customer demand.

Hyundai’s new Motorsport facility in Germany No one can accuse Hyundai of not taking their return to the FIA World Rally Championship in 2014 seriously. They’re busy preparing an i20 to take on the WRC, starting in Monte Carlo in January 2014, and have now started testing their swift WRC i20 in preparation. They’ve already recruited some impressive names to join their new Hyundai Motorsport GmbH team including Michel Nandan to head up their WRC efforts who has been joined by Frenchmen Bertrand Vallat and Stephane Girad, Alain Penasse, Ernst Kopp and Stefan Henrich.
