  Description
Vintage / antique HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLE IGNITION SWITCH for panhead / knucklehead / flathead, OEM, brass, with hinged cover and what I think is called the blackout button; no key; appears very clean and undamaged, except for the one non-metal part, which is a circular piece on the bottom which is made from something like a masonite material - it is cracked/broken in two places. There is a parts number and manufacturer on the of the non-brass base of the ignition - "Douglas MFG. Co., Bronson, Mich., 6250". Possibly for Military Police, maybe from World War II-era 45 cubic inch V-twin military motorcycle model? I am not sure - I do not know what specific bike this was originally removed from. CONDITION: in very clean shape with some minor rubbing to the brass; cracked seal.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo gets cheaper

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

Hyundai are set to launch an additional model of the Velsoter Turbo to sit below the Turbo SE for around £2 less. With the regular Hyundai Veloster starting at £18k and the Velsoter Turbo at £22k, Hyundai has worked out there’s a middle ground price point – can you guess what it is? So to fill that gap (yes, it’s a £20k entry point) Hyundai are to launch the bog-standard Veloster Turbo (without the SE badge) which will lose some of the equipment but, as far as we can see, keep the butch cosmetic bits on the exterior.

Audi A3 e-tron (2015) to launch Audi’s plug-in hybrid attack

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

Audi’s first plug-in hybrid will hit the UK by 2015, with the electric-assisted drivetrain installed in the A3. E-tron versions of the next-generation A4 and Q7 will follow, as Audi gets serious about plug-ins, and takes the fight to BMW’s forthcoming range of ‘born electric’ i cars. Audi A3 e-tron: the full lowdown Audi UK’s number-crunchers have been trying to calculate the market’s size, to estimate potential demand and help shape the A3 e-tron’s spec.

Top Indian cars fail crash safety tests

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

SEVERAL of India's most popular small cars have failed independent crash tests, a global car safety watchdog said. David Ward, head of the London car-safety watchdog Global NCAP, which performed the crash tests, said the car industry in India lacked adequate safeguards. Four of five small cars popular on the Indian market last year, including the famous Tata Nano, failed the crash tests.
