This sale is for an absolutely incredible Mesinger leather motorcycle seat. I believe these were original equipment on the early Indians and Harleys. This is the original leather, which would make it 90-100 years old. There are no tears or cuts, though the leather is very old and deteriorating. It is still soft. The seat spring underneath is broken in two places. If you look closely at the pictures, you can see the original logo embossed in the leather of the seat. This is a real piece of history, and to find one in this condition is unheard of. The motorcycles from this era sell for $30,000 and up. An original Mesinger!
