Selling two antique Plymouth  5 bolt  spoke wheels with hubcaps on them.  Tires removed were Firestone 5.25-5.50 x 17.  I don't know what years these may fit, but they are in good condition for their age.  I've tried to show dimensions with pictures.  Center hole measures about 2 7/8 inches, bolt hole spacing is about 2 5/8 inches.  Bead seat width is 3 inches.  There is a little rust between the beads, but with some cleaning these wheels are sound and usable.  I have not tried to remove the hubcaps, and will not vouch for the condition of areas that cannot be seen.  The last photo shows the worst of the rust, and that isn't all the way around the wheel.

Mercedes S-Class AMG Sport Edition – it’s another S-Class run-out special

Mon, 18 Feb 2013

The Mercedes S-Class AMG Sport Edition is another ‘final’ S Class model with extra equipment as the W221 comes to the end of its shelf life. The current Mercedes S-Class (W221) has been with us since 2006, despite which it’s still a fine car (and a great secondhand buy), but it’s about to be replaced by an all new S-Class. That’s why S-Class sales are falling and why Mercedes has rolled out the S-Class Grand Edition and CL Grand Edition to persuade buyers that a new S-Class (or S-Class coupe, in the case of the CL) is still a good place to park a sizeable chunk of change.

GM to slash global vehicle platforms by more than half, to 14, by 2018

Tue, 09 Aug 2011

General Motors says it will cut the number of vehicle platforms it uses globally by more than half over the next decade, in a bid to reduce complexity and save on product-development costs. “More of our components will be common, and more of our vehicles will be on global architectures,” GM CEO Dan Akerson told analysts on Tuesday. His remarks came as GM kicked off a series of presentations online, billed as its 2011 Global Business Conference.

Ford Transit XXL (2007): first official pictures

Thu, 04 Jan 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 04 January 2007 10:59 Ford Transit XXL: the lowdown White van man has a new toy, and it's a big one: Ford's Transit XXL. Stretching the tape measure to 7.4m long, it's as long as two regular Transit Tourneo models and has limo-style legroom for seven builders. There are a few more creature comforts than in most Transits, too: captain's armchairs with individual DVD screens and games consoles, and leather trim throughout.
