ANTIQUE ORIGINAL FULTON STEERING KNOB
This antique steering knob was made in the U.S.A. by Fulton. Fulton is stamped into the mounting clamp. This steering knob is in good vintage condition. The base shines nice with no rust or chips and has a nice patina. Look at the pictures. The knob itself is a beautiful caramel color with some darker veins to give it a marbled affect. This steering knob is solid and smooth.  It spins as it should without any play or tightness. Complete with its original mounting clamp and screw. This is an antique steering knob from the past and not a reproduction. Look closely at the pictures for the condition as they are part of the description. This steering knob is in good condition but it's an antique so you may see a flaw here and there so it is being Sold as is. Once again look closely at the pictures for the condition.

Pace cadets: At AMG academy, students take their finals with their right feet

Mon, 02 Nov 2009

Mercedes-Benz USA launched the AMG Challenge in 2002, a program touted as "a chance to experience the thrill of driving the newest Mercedes AMGs on some of America's best racetracks." This year, MBUSA abandoned the Challenge in favor of the AMG Driving Academy, a multistage driver-development program pioneered by AMG in Europe. The difference? According to Greg Clark, AMG manager, "the Challenge was more about the cars, while the Academy is more about the driver." Having participated in both the Challenge and now the Academy, we'd say that difference is subtle, at least as it applies to the one-day program.

One Lap of the Web: Mock the Week Edition

-- Mazda Europe designer Peter Birthwhistle talks about the future of Mazda: potential hybrid and electric powertrains for the Skyactiv-obsessed company, and how we'll all be driving Mazda-branded pods in the 22nd century. But he also mentions, rather interestingly, how certain Mazdas capture a quintessentially long-hood, RWD look -- and not just the Miata, either, which is RWD. No, it's the exhaust systems on those Skyactiv engines that force a longer, larger hood compartment, and the "long, flowing looks" not usually found on FWD engines.

Jaguar XF Sportbrake: Better than Santa’s Sleigh

Jaguar XF Sportbrake - the Santa Special Jaguar continue the ‘official’ spy tease for the XF Estate with a spy photo of Santa packing presents in the back of the XF Sportbrake. Did Jaguar miss a trick with the ‘spy’ photo they’ve divvied up today of Father Christmas packing presents in to the back of the new XF Sportbrake? Where are the Jaguar logos on the wrapping paper?
