Very nice original accessory S & M LAMP COMPANY spot light, driving light or fog light.  Stamped "No. 70", and "Patd 6-30-14, Los Angeles, Cal."   Light is about 6" overall diameter, and about 5-1/4" from front to back.  It has a push-pull switch installed as original.  Light mount is 9/16" diameter stud, with the wires run inside the stud.  Wiring is old and brittle, but there.  Clear glass lens in nice condition as shown.  Reflector is silver plate on brass, as was done at that time. Bulb socket and switch present and original.  Nickel plated trim has nice patina, please look closely at photos.  Great original condition is as shown, and we opened it up for photos so you would not have any surprises.  Typically would be on a touring car, roadster or phaeton.  Unrestored antique part from the 'teens to early 1930's time period, nice patina as is or can be restored for show quality.  We are running separate auctions on a variety of mounting brackets for this style of lamp, this week and in future weeks.  Don't miss out on a rare chance for this authentic period accessory !

Note that we have to estimate shipping weights and package sizes BEFORE we pack the item.
