These are 1914 cast iron with glazed-on porcelain like finish license plates. The background is white with red letters. The GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN is perfectly clear on both plates. You will notice minor chipping on what I would say was the rear plate. The front plate has more wear and rust along the lower edge but is still solid. I also included  photos showing the back of the plates.

When I see old plates being offered elsewhere, there is usually just one. I think it's a bonus to have both. I feel that these are in pretty good condition considering their age.

They measure 4 1/2 x 11 7/8 in.

The theme park designed by Ferrari

Ferrari is to build Ferrari Land – a new Prancing Horse theme park, inside the PortAventura resort outside Barcelona in Spain. It’s the second Ferrari theme park of its kind, following the successful Ferrari World Park in Abu Dhabi. The news comes after a commitment from Ferrari’s chairman Luca di Montezemolo to cut production of its road cars in a bid to preserve the brand’s exclusivity.

The Mayor was speaking at Transport for London's 'New Taxis for London', an event where he met five manufacturers currently developing vehicles designed to meet the new requirements. Boris Johnson has previously pledged to make the capital an Ultra Low Emission Zone by 2020, although some have argued that it needs to come sooner than that.

Honda AC-X Concept

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

The Honda AC-X plug-in hybrid sedan will form part of the company's seven concept vehicle strategy at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. From the images released by Honda, the AC-X appears similar in both size and proportion to the hydrogen fuel cell-powered FCX Clarity, with its a-pillars and windscreen base pulled far forwards, a smooth transition over its nose, screen, roof and rear deck and an elongated, sharply cut-off tail. Aerodynamic efficiency is clearly paramount.
