NEW AOD Sonnax "Super Hold" Servo Part Number 76890-17KP

In high performance applications where a larger servo is desired, the Sonnax "Super Hold" servo provides the largest apply area of any other available AOD servo. The Sonnax servo is calibrated to progressively increase band apply force as line pressure increases. At lower line pressure, the apply force is close to the Ford "A" servo. At mid-to-high line pressure, the apply force is significantly higher than with any other AOD servo. Kit comes with optional cushion springs for maximum holding power while reducing excessive harshness. Included springs can minimize 3-4 shift timing concerns that can occur when installing a larger overdrive servo. Special servo pin with O-ring seals prevent oil leaks at the case pin bore.

Incredibly, Toyota’s big 4x4 is about to enter its sixth decade of tough mud plugging. Although the cosmetic changes are more subtle, the new 2010 Land Cruiser is designed to be better to drive on and off road with more creature comforts, claims Toyota.

Ford Figo – Cool for India

Wed, 23 Sep 2009

The Ford Figo - made in India For has spent a few bob – around £300 million – expanding its car making facilities in India at Chennai to make the plant capable of producing 200,000 cars a year which, as Alan Mullaly, Ford’s CEO said, does show how serious Ford are about the Indian market. The Figo – which is apparently colloquial Italian for ‘Cool’ – shares Ford’s small car platform, which means that under the skin it’s a Fiesta. It looks like a Ford too, with the usual ford ‘Kinetic’ design cues written all over it.
