CAR recently interviewed Luca di Montezemolo, chairman of Ferrari. He's one of the most established names in the supercar arena, having started with Ferrari in 1973 as founder Enzo’s assistant and grand prix team manager. After winning two world championships with Nikki Lauda in 1975 and 1977, he left to head the organisation responsible for staging the 1990 football World Cup in Italy.

Fernando Alonso drives the Ferrari 458 Spider As the Ferrari 458 Spider gets closer to its official debut at Frankfurt this week, Ferrari are busy dropping bits of PR stuff to keep up interest. Today’s helping is Ferrari F1 driver Fernando Alonso having a play in Ferrari’s new convertible. New Kia Rio - on sale 1st September Last week we had the reveal of the 3-door Kia Picanto, and today confirmation that the 2012 Kia Rio - revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in the Spring and first cousin to the Hyundai i20 – will be on sale in the UK on 1st September from just £10,595. Busy times for Kia. The new Kia Rio will launch as a five door, but we can expect to see a sportier three door version in the New Year.
