Prevent scratches and scuffs to your rooftop cargo during transit with Apex Roof Rack Pads. These soft foam pads install over round, square, or oval bars up to 2-3/4" thick and feature a polyurethane sleeve for a soft, cushioned fit over your roof cargo bars.

The Apex Roof Rack Pads easily install onto your vehicle's factory or aftermarket cross bars to protect your surfboard, SUP, lumber, ladder, or other rooftop cargo. The paddle board roof rack pads feature foam construction with a water-resistant polyurethane sleeve and a split bottom for easy installation. Each of the two 18" long pads features integrated straps for securing them to the crossbars. Two 125" long cam buckle straps are included for securing your cargo.

There were a few bare spots on the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show this year, spots that in previous years had been jammed sardine-like with myriad Taiwanese makers of Hello Kitty knockoff cell phone cozies and electronic barking dogs, but the show this year was nonetheless pretty well attended. Besides, for those working their way upstream through the aisles like so many digitally trained trout, the empty spots left by exhibitors that pulled out were like refreshing mountain meadows or little piazzas in crowded Italian cities. Show management stocked the open spots with cushy couches, too, on which many a jet-lagged showgoer snoozed.

Alfa Romeo 4C spied in Michigan

During the Detroit auto show in January, Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne told us -- in his own irreverent way -- that arrival of the long-promised Alfa Romeo 4C would be delayed once again. But as these spy photos show, testing on the sporty coupe continues even as a debut date remains elusive. This isn't the first time we've caught the 4C testing in the States.
