Condition:Used

Used Volvo Penta 1000531 aka 531 head, without camshaft.  This is the correct head for the AQ 125, 131, and 151 engines, and will work with other SOHC Penta four cylinder engines with carburetors.

This is also a very desirable head for automotive performance engines, due to improved flow and better combustion chamber design.  If used in a turbo motor, replacement of the exhaust valves with an appropriate type is recommended. Does not have holes for use with K-Jetronic fuel injection.

This head has typical signs of marine use, mostly the expected wear around the #4 exhaust port.  Some reconditioning will be required prior to use.

The Peugeot 508 caught in Madrid We first reported that Peugeot were planning on dumping the 407 and 607 and replacing them with a car pitched somewhere in between – the Peugeot 508 – back in November. Which makes sense. The big French cars never sell anywhere other than France and the 407 needs to go a bit more upmarket to keep up with the competition.

Concept Car of the Week: Volvo Tundra (1979)

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

With Volvo beginning a new chapter in its design history with the Concept Coupé, it's interesting to look back at another Volvo coupé concept from 1979 – the Tundra. At the time, the Swedish manufacturer built large and relatively pricey cars that were neither really luxurious nor real 'people cars'. The 340 series began the brand's expansion towards more affordable models and proved to be very successful worldwide.
