So you probably already know that the stock Cat chain tensioner is pretty much useless and needs to be upgraded.

Midwest Mini Exclusive!! This Spring Loaded chain tensioner is easy to install & replaces the weak factory spring loaded tensioners on the Arctic Cat Z 120 / Yamaha SRX120 models which never worked all that well. This tensioner constantly keeps proper alignment with it's billet aluminum pivot arm that easily bolts to the side of the tunnel and a ball bearing type sprocket for accurate chain tracking. This tensioner can also be used as a manual tensioner if desired by not using the spring and just adjusting the sprocket in the slot. Tensioner kits work with all of our 35 chain conversions. Excellent for racing and just general trail use as your sprockets and chain will last much longer with this kit.

Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon TI is spotted in metro Detroit

Mon, 18 Jun 2012

It's tough to say what a metro Detroit sighting of this manufacturer-plated Alfa Romeo 159 TI Sportwagon portends for the Italian automaker's long-anticipated return to the American market--probably nothing. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne's plan to bring Alfa Romeo back to the United States features the sporty, limited-edition 4C coupe, the subcompact MiTo and the midsize Giulia, but not the out-of-production 159. Still, a domestic sighting of a brand-new Alfa Romeo is a rare enough occurrence that we're happy to share these photos without further comment.

Grand National Roadster Show takes on new judging rules, rodding wins

Mon, 31 Jan 2011

Daryl Wolfswinkel's 1934 Ford, built by Doug Jerger of Squeeg's Kustoms in Chandler, Ariz., won the title America's Most Beautiful Roadster on Sunday at the Grand National Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. That in itself was not necessarily the biggest news out of Pomona last weekend, however. In a hobby/passion/love affair such as hot-rodding, you'd expect a '32, '33 or '34 Ford to win.
