Nissan to show GT-R crossover in Sao Paulo?
Thu, 18 Oct 2012Nissan has teased a concept car to be unveiled later this month at the Sao Paulo motor show in Brazil with two renders. It's hard to tell what format the car is, but these obscured images could show a GT-R-branded coupe/SUV crossover designed specifically for the Brazilian market. This would make sense in a market where rugged SUVs with high ground clearance for sub-standard roads are so commonplace.
2011 VW Sharan: Price and model detail
Thu, 21 Oct 2010The VW Sharan 2011 - we have price and model details It was back at the Geneva Motor Show that we brought you news of the 201o VW Sharan, a complete reworking of the Sharan, this time on a VW platform instead of a shared Ford Galaxy one. We said at the time that we’d bring you more detail when VW sorted out price and model detail, but we didn’t expect it to take nearly eight months. Which is why we decided the headline on this story should reference the 2011 VW Sharan instead of the 2010 VW Sharan.
Mazda MX-5 Miata
Thu, 04 Sep 2014For only the fourth time since the first was introduced 25 years ago - when it reignited the small sports car market - there's a new Mazda MX-5 Miata. Mazda's aim this time was to strip away much of the bulk that had accumulated over the years, recapturing the essence of a compact, light and affordable roadster. The subtext is that the MX-5 Miata has become a car more often bought by women in their 60s, rather than the young males it was originally intended for.
