We are not liable for delays that are out of our control, such as weather, disasters, or other unstoppable events. All packages do NOT include insurance, you must contact us if you would like to add insurance. We are not liable for un-insured packages that get lost or damaged, un-insured packages are the liability of the buyer. We only use UPS & USPS as our main shipping carriers, we also ship Speed-Dee Delivery if it is available in your area. Combined Shipping: We do offer combined shipping for multiple items purchased. A combined item invoice must be requested PRIOR to payment of any of the items to receive combined shipping. Item(s) paid for on separate invoices will be shipped separately. (EX: 3 Invoices = 3 Shipments) If you want to save money on shipping you must combine your items on one invoice PRIOR to payment. International Shipping: We welcome international customers to purchase our items. If you do not see a shipping quote to your country, please contact us and we will provide you with one. You must provide us with a correct shipping address in English upon purchasing an item. If your package is returned to us because it was undeliverable, only the purchase price of the item(s) will be refunded. The cost of shipping will not be refunded to you. Taxes, duties, brokerage fees, and customs fees on items shipped internationally are the responsibility of the buyer, they are not included in the sale price. Purchasing Policy: Minnesota residents have to pay sales tax on all taxable items! Please make payment within 5 days of the purchase date. Return Policy: • Returnable items may be returned for exchange, in-store credit or refund within 30 days after item is received. • Christmas gifts ordered from November 21th through December 25th can be returned through January 10th. • All returns require prior authorization with a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) #. Any returns w/o a RMA # will not be processed. • If an exchange cannot be fulfilled, customer may choose another item or customer can choose from in-store credit or refund. • Item must be in original condition & packaging with all tags attached. • Any items that are open, used, worn, contain smoke odor, pet hair or anything not in the original condition will NOT be accepted. • Use of the manufacturer's product packaging for a shipping container will result in a 20% restocking fee (the product's packaging must be kept in new condition). • All baseball style hats must be returned at least 6” tall. No envelopes or flat boxes. Who’s Where: Peter Horbury appointed Senior Vice President Design at Geely Group
Thu, 03 Nov 2011Peter Horbury, presently Vice President of Design at Volvo Car Corporation, is set to join a growing roster of design directors who have relocated to China – the most recent being Gert Hildebrandt who was appointed Design Director at Chery Quantum Auto Co. (a joint venture between Chery Automobile, China's largest independent car manufacturer, and Israel Corp.) earlier this year. Horbury, who will be taking up a new position as Senior Vice President of Design at Geely Group, will be based in Sanya, in the Hainan Province of China.
EyesOn Design Awards 2014 presented in Detroit
Wed, 15 Jan 2014The winners of the EyesOn Design Awards have been announced in COBO Hall at the end of the second press day of the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. More than 30 competition judges, who are active or retired heads of design at automotive manufacturers and chairs of transportation design education programs, declared the Ford Mustang the ‘Best Production Car'. The 2015 model, relaunched in time for the model's upcoming 50-year anniversary, is instantly recognizable as a Mustang, retaining similar proportions to the outgoing model but with a more sculpted and sophisticated silhouette.
BMW announces DesignWorksUSA studio and ConnectedDrive lab in Shanghai
Mon, 30 Apr 2012BMW has opened both a DesignWorks studio and a ConnectedDrive lab in Shanghai, China, as a means of gathering information and insight into the Chinese market as the company looks to increase its presence in Asia. Adrian van Hooydonk, Director BMW Group Design, said, "Creating this foothold for both BMW Group Design and DesignworksUSA in Shanghai is of great importance from both strategic and creative standpoints." President of BMW Group DesignWorksUSA Laurenz Schaffer said, "Our new studio in Shanghai places DesignworksUSA at the epicenter of the most rapidly growing and influential consumer market in the world and provides an indispensable resource for shaping our global perspectives for clients." The new studio will perform functions including product, transportation, automotive, environmental and interaction design; color, material and finish design; design communication, research and strategy as well as sustainability consulting. Designers from DesignworksUSA studio in Los Angeles, Munich and Singapore will supplement a local design team.
