The Mercedes ConceptFascination - Could make it in to production as an E-Class Coupe Estate Car makers are searching for every niche they can fill with their cars, particularly at the premium end. Audi and Mercedes are big players (we still think the Mercedes R-Class a niche too far), and BMW play the game too, with cars like the BMW X6M and the new BMW 5 Series GT. If the Mercedes E Class Coupe Estate does go in to production it will bring to five the number of models based on the same Class – the saloon, the coupe, the cabriolet and the estate plus this new Coupe Estate.

New Jaguar XJ Supersport Diesel coming?

The Jaguar XJ Supersport TDV8 - expect it in showrooms in 2011 We’ve known for quite a while that Jaguar Land Rover were going to start putting a new V8 diesel in to their cars. MEDIA interest might have died down but thousands are still dealing with the devastation caused by the recent flooding. Along with homeowners, motorists also battled rising water levels and deteriorating road conditions. However, according to a new survey of its members, the AA has said that as many as 68 percent of those polled said the extreme weather had contributed to poor road conditions but 67 percent blamed councils for not maintaining drains well enough.
